The Academy has proudly graduated over nine hundred students between our CT and Soweto campuses. Our Alumni have ventured into a variety of businesses, careers and experiences and we proudly showcase their achievements.
Approximately 80% of our contactable graduates have gone on to find work (for industry experience), study further or start a small business.
RAA Alumni have opened various small businesses, including marketing and promotions, medical delivery, bicycle advertising, community recycling, township tours, panel beaters, computer sanitizing services, interiors and soft furnishings, software development, chocolates, biltong, music and entertainment, graffiti boards, driving school, water sanitation, commercial cleaning services and film production.
Graduates have also gone on to find employment in various industries where they are able to apply the entrepreneurial thinking they developed at the Academy.
RAA graduates have also achieved well in various entrepreneurship competitions including national winners in the SAB Kickstart and SEDA Small Business Stars competitions and finalists in the City of Cape Town and Pitch and Polish entrepreneurship competitions.
